Motivation

Why another VRML-Viewer? After having evaluated several VRML-Viewers for Linux - which I didn't get to work or which didn't work in the expected way or which were missing one or the other feature, which I needed, I decided to write this one. The main functionality to parse VRML (*.wrl) and Open Inventor (*.iv) files comes from Coin3D. The portability is a result of the use of Qt and the SoQt library. Martin Wojtczyk

Requirements

To build qiew from the sources you will need the building tool CMake, the Open Inventor reimplementation Coin3D and the portable GUI Toolkit Qt.
